Design Brief

Project Goal: Our main goal is to improve the current trail camera design, making it tougher and more dependable while adding cool new features. We want the camera to work well even in rain, snow, and really hot or cold weather, and survive bumps and knocks. It should also take great videos and sound recordings and have special modes for different uses. Plus, we're aiming to create a trail camera that's affordable compared to the Bushnell Trophy Cam.

3D CAD Design

We used SolidWorks to meticulously craft the hardware for the Bushnell Trophy cam. While it may not possess the same degree of flexibility as some other software options, SolidWorks stands as one of the most advanced tools available for designing cutting-edge creations. Through our expertise with SolidWorks, we ensure a meticulous and precise approach to crafting each component, resulting in a product that meets the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Product Prototyping

Furthermore, we provide comprehensive 3D Prototyping services. As demonstrated below, we have successfully 3D printed the Trophy Cam, enabling us to gain a tactile understanding of the product. 3D Printing

Here, you can see two 3D-printed front covers for the Proof Cam. The one on the right is the original 3D-printed part, while on the left, we've added a primer as a first step before the hydro-dipping process.

Hydro Dipping

Once the 3D printing was complete, we applied a primer to the surface. Following this, we experimented with hydro dipping to visualize how the camouflage pattern would appear. It's important to note that this isn't the final product – rather, it's a prototype stage where we're exploring the potential look and feel of the design.
